In 2017, global crude steel production hit another record high. According to the latest data from the International Steel Association, the global crude steel production in 2017 increased by 5.3% year-on-year to 1.691 billion tons, a record high; the country's new global steel giant “100 million tons of clubs” in 2017 is India, with crude steel production reaching 1.014. Billion tons, thus raising the global crude steel output to billion tons of countries rose to three, namely China, Japan and India.


Asian steel market: First suppress and then lift. The steel benchmark price index for the region's 128.5 points rose by 1.5% (from rising to low) on a week-to-week basis. It was down 3.9% month-on-month (increasing decline) and up 23.8% year-on-year.
