The steel grade 1.4835 ( also called S30815 Stainless Steel) is an austenitic stainless high temperature steel with good resistance to oxidation. S30815 Stainless Steel has been designed to be used at temperatures over 550°C, the most suitable temperature range is 850-1100°C. S30815 Stainless Steel suits for production of details with good resistance to temperature corrosion and relatively high strength at elevated temperatures. S30815 Stainless Steel also has good creep strength properties. S30815 Stainless Steel is not magnetic but can be slightly magnetic after cold working or welding.
