Stainless Steel Grade 15-5 PH UNS S15500 is martensite, precipitate hardening, chromium nickel copper stainless steel, with good surface smoothness and dimensional stability. Good processing technology, good mechanical properties, corrosion resistant environment.
The steel has good strength, toughness and ductility transverse, hardness and corrosion resistance similar to 304 stainless steel. It may be used for treatment or heat treatment conditions for various properties.

When used for the high temperature of 700℃, 15-5PH should be competent, because it is both the austenitic stainless steel, and application of a wide range of austenite steel body is strong, but best not more than 750℃, the heat treatment for solid solution treatment, the heat to 1000℃ above, heat preservation time after water quenching, doing the above temperature 60 ~ 100℃ aging, etc
